MORE INFO
Boa Vista Farm, managed by Anderson Monteiro de Andrade, spans 900 hectares in the rolling landscapes of Ibiraci, Minas Gerais, Brazil. Located at an altitude averaging 1200 meters, with the highest points reaching 1280 meters. Anderson cultivates three coffee varieties: Catuai 2SL, Catucai, and IPR 98, with a focus on maintaining robust plants that thrive at high altitudes. For this coffee, he applied a traditional natural process. The coffee undergoes a 30-day drying period on the patio, allowing flavors to develop gradually under Anderson's careful attention. His dedication to a simple, natural process yields impressive results in quality and flavor. The family values sustainable practices, minimizing chemical fertilizers in favor of biological products and composting, promoting soil health and biodiversity. Looking to the future, Anderson hopes to pass on his passion for coffee to his family’s next generation, exploring regenerative agriculture to keep their practices progressive and eco-friendly. “Coffee is our daily motivation,” he says, as it allows him to support everyone involved in the process while embracing social and environmental responsibilities for the well-being of all..
